A modern, $70 USD fighting game should work properly. Instead, it's riddled with bugs, especially on PC, and locked to 30 fps in many places (why? I have no idea). It still doesn't have crossplay either four months after launch, so I haven't been able to play with several of my friends this whole time.

A $70 game should also be respectful of our time and money. Instead, unlocking Havik requires either playing out the story mode or spending an additional $8. Kameos are in a similar situation, and the dollars option to unlock them immediately is $20. Also Shang Tsung is another $8 if you didn't pre-order, and there's no alternative there. NONE of this is included with the Premium Edition.

So, if you want to buy this game today and immediately have access to all the characters and kameos that were available at launch, it'll cost you $106 total. Otherwise, it'll cost you $78 and several hours of grinding.

Omni-Man? He's not included in any of that. Would you like to buy Kombat Pack 1 for $40 more? I did, but I regret it now.

I think I'd like to stop spending time and money on a game that respects neither and doesn't even work well.
