I don't wish to spoil anything about the storyline, but I will say without a doubt that the story is amazing. The bleak atmosphere, the sense of desperation and a quiet acceptance of both, just waiting for the inevitable end. The Gods are dead, the sun hangs still in the sky, and clans raise their banners, marching towards where they think they might be safe. The ending of the game, in particular, pierced through the years of cynicism and trauma every millenial has (like a certain Silver Arrow) and hit me right in the feels. I played through this and its second installment in maybe a week, and then spent the weekend afterwards inconsolable with the sacrifices I had to make. 10/10. Oh, and there's fabric wizards.

This game isn't exactly a game. It's more of a toolkit, a way of creating. That being said, some of the things one can create with experience, time, and a whole lot of welding are incredible beyond explanation. I have over 1337 hours on this wonderful application (I wish I was kidding) and have enjoyed every second of it. Most games are good because of their storyline or characters. GMod is awesome because it lets you create your own.
