No matter how much I play, how much I try to learn the game, how much I try to not let the community effect me, there is genuinely no fun to be had. Regardless if you play survivor or killer you WILL NOT have fun most of your games (unless you find fun in just ruining other peoples days) this game is case of right place right time. If any other asymmetrical game beat them to the market first and had licensed killers, this would have failed. The gameplay loop is unfun, (YYou literally are just playing tag, and depending on the map its unplayable for either side because of the loops you can get) not to mention items and addons completely skewing and ruining the balance of the game. (Some killers have addons that can insta down, some survivors can bring items such as flashlights that make fundamental game mechanics like hooking impossible in most cases) not to mention gens go so blindingly fast in the game that you barely have any time to actually play a match before its over. The devs have multiple times said they know better than the community, (their response to the game not being fun anymore was that we are playing it "too much" and need to go play something else.) and they continue to ruin both sides balancing with these insane perk balancing options. (Gen regression perks getting nerfed, dead hard nerf, mettle of man nerf,) not to mention the killer balancing being absolutely terrible. (Freddy has been bad for 90% of his lifecycle in the game, and they have kept us completely in the dark about balancing him in any meaningful way.) YOu may get fun out of it very briefly because of the horror icons, but this game is truly terrible, and I regret every second and every dollar I give to them because of nostalgia of my childhood beloved horror game franchises. I truly hope this development team goes under, and this IP gets acquired by people who actually care, this game is toxic, the developers are toxic, the mechanics are toxic. IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME.

There's a reason I only have two reviews on my account, I don't really do them. However Lost Ark is such an incredibly good game that I felt I needed to write something about it. If you're a fan of diablo style games in any way shape or form get this immediately, the combat is best in its class as far as dungeon crawlers, coupled with so much streamlining on the mmo side of things that you never truly feel stuck at any point in the progression or that its a grind. All side quests will be in the area of main quests and require little to no extra effort, trade skills items are kept in a separate inventory so they dont clog up your main inventory. And to top it all off the game has great graphics, character creation, voice acting, and the dungeons as well as story cutscenes are on the scale of a triple A rpg. Everything that I don't like about mmo's has been fixed or removed, and everything I like about mmo's has been cranked up to 11. This game is seriously like liquid dopamine injected directly into your eyeballs every second you play.

TLDR: GAME IS AMAZING!! IF YOU LIKE MMOS OR DUNGEON CRAWLERS AT ALL PLAY IT ASAP! ITS FREE FOR GODS SAKE! SUPPORT THE DEVS TOO! THEY DESERVE IT!
