Dev switched the gameplay from Old school monster hunter esque quests to a rather bland and Generic Turn based system.

Well done fellow Helldivers! The Automoton creation known as "Sony" has relented in their attack on our way of life!

May this day become a day of celebration for super earth!

Actual review time:

Helldivers 2 is a breath of fresh air in the modern big name gaming space, a game that's fun first and monetized second (and the monetization is totally optional!)

The community based major orders are a great story telling tool, and gives us players the feeling of really influencing the outcomes of our battles.

The only complaint I have at this time is weapons are getting unfairly shafted with nothing really given to us to compensate for it, I understand they want the bigger mobs to be taken care of via stratagem use but they also nerf the stratagems at higher difficulty with modifiers while adding more of the big boys.
There's a fine line between a fun challenge and a frustrating challenge that spoils the fun, and the current state of the game is riding that line every mission.

shouldn't have to wait this long to get into a game, online only is a joke

Forced PVP is ♥♥♥♥ and will always be ♥♥♥♥, remove it.

Game needs a MASSIVE look at how the game flows, your game is decided from turn one based on the resources near you and your enemies, and the AI seems to be able to win battles it should not be able to given the strength they have.

Devs aren't listening to fans at all, they reduced pc performance and specs to allow it to port to the switch, switched to full release without a good majority of features enabled, just stay away from this one

The gameplay is the basic BR loop, drop, loot, kill. but the added mobility of the jump jets makes it a little interesting, in the end, tactical play is as important as your aim

I'll admit, when I saw that there were "crates" I was worried about p2w, especially with the perks, but looking at the actual perks, it's not P2W at all, each perk allows you to do something minorly better with your weapon or class (ex: you gain some reserve ammo when breaking shields, or you gain shields when damaging a vehicle) the only advantage a paying player gets is they have a wider array of options for their loadouts (which can be seen as P2W, but nothing you buy will make you have a huge advantage over a noobie)

the weapon play feels almost the same as PS2 for most of the weapons, though a little more variety in selection would be nice, maybe even different attachments?

To those complaining "this isn't PS" you're not wrong, it's a spin off, and a fairly good one at that, I for one reconmend you get a few buddies together and drop down to Amerish and blast some skulls!

If you wanted more to ark you will get it here, and to all those saying "WAAAA LOAD TIMES TOO LONG PLZ FIX"

Please learn that it's a overhaul that adds a lot to the game, the loading times are the price of admission

>"expired token"... expired in 6 hours from now
>can't even relaunch game as I get invalid email error

Works as a uninstall simulator though. but don't waste your time even trying to DL it

Can't use a controller with it unless you use a workaround that works ~50% of the time
