Not completely sure where I stand with this whole Sony thing yet. Some effects of this are a complete disgrace, some are trivial. People not getting to play simply due to where their spot on the planet is unacceptable, especially in the way this has unfolded. On the other hand, even though this is the first enforced case of this, the Sony account requirement was always labelled on the tin. As of writing this, May 5th, 2024, my recommendation is to wait for a while until the dust has settled and THEN- make an educated decision.

Garry's Mod, a game where you can let your imagination run free, and acquire many, many add-ons to make your time there all the more enjoyable. There is seemingly a gamemode for everybody to enjoy, (The gamemodes I usually play are Sandbox, DarkRP, Prop Hunt and TTT) and plenty of servers to keep playing that might have their own custom group of add-ons, allowing you to experiment with new items, that might have you say "Hey, that would be AWESOME to have in my singleplayer!" and then you try it out, and combine it with your other items to have one big collection of some of your favourite game characters, weapons, vehicles, NPC's and tons of other cool stuff. In conclusion, all this workshop content that I have been going on about, is what keeps Garry's Mod fresh, new, and one of my favourite games, that I strongly recommend and hope that you give it a try.
