There are university degrees in STEM subjects that are less convoluted than this game.

5 years on, the game still holds up strong. The gameplay can be as simple or as difficult as you want it to be, whether by cranking up the difficulty in game, or setting silly restraints on yourself.
The gameplay is superbly smooth, with difficult decisions being a constant in the game. And the music is absolute top tier. Would strongly recommend, and I can't wait for Frostpunk 2!

Horribly designed training levels. If this is what the main game is like, I'm sorry, this is abysmal.
Half of the training levels are virtually impossible, and the online forums seem to be filled with people complaining about them being impossible. The AI constantly retreats despite the mission briefings claiming they won't, and many of the 3D modelled parts do not mesh together as expected.
Unless they fix the AI and the bugs, would not recommend.

10/10 game, 2000 hours and counting!

It may be expensive, but it's worth every damn penny.

Huge amounts of replay value, interesting mechanics and a developer who hasn't turned their game into a micro-transaction hell. The game really gets kicked up a notch with the Rise and Fall DLC.
