The Rats are a sentient, talking variant of the standard species of rat, Rattus norvegicus. They decide leaders seemingly randomly, but what is known is that the leader becomes massive and makes all of the rules for that rat pack. The rats have also displayed many extraordinary abilities such as driving cars, despite their small size. They're often up to no good stealing or killing innocent people. The rat leader is also known to have psychic powers to fool humans into thinking that he isn't a rat.
