A fantastic game to play with some friends. The fear of losing a character or weapons starting after blood level 10 is absolutely terrifying and the satisfaction you get from simply staying alive is amazing. Highly recommend this game to everyone that likes to challenge them selves.

This game gives me nightmares. It will be most likely be the last AC game I ever play.
Lets start with the good things. The city is beautiful and full of life. You won´t care as the rest of the game is pure **** but it is a beautiful city.
The graphics are good, the sounds are terrible. The whole game sounds like someone was playing it on the bottom of a well.
The main character is booring, does not seem to be functioning for any coherent reason and after 10 hours of gameplay I still could not remember his name nor did I have any interest in his life. He is also the first assassin that I know of without any sense of direction or the ability to walk over obstacles higher then his knee. Moving him around in the game world is like trying to build a lego castle, using chopsticks, with the chopstick glued to you feet. The guy simply will not go in the direction you want him to go.
The game also crashes every 30 minutes and there are several bugs which take out all the fun from the game such as, enemies seeing you through the walls, occasionally the main character getting stuck on something while in the middle of running, view changing wildly during combats and occasionally the fact that you cannot talk to he characters needed to complete a mission (no speak option is shown)
The last draw for me was in sequence 9 act 2 when after killing the target the game would completely stop working for a minute after which I could just see my character dying since the game had been running all the time in the background but showed me just a static image. After trying seven times and ending in the same situation everytime I can say with 100% that no one should buy this game and Ubisoft should not be selling it to the customers at all, until it is finished.

For a long time The Forest has been my go to game when anyone wants to play some good co-op. The game has been in development for a long time and gone through so many variations and incremental updates that each time I pick it up it is fresh and new.

The Forest does not explain. There is a plane crash after which you wake up in an island. From that point on, you are on your own. The only thing helping you is the survival guide which I suggest you read first. The survival guide gives you information on what kind of things you can build and what can you collect. The items you collect can be combined and used in various ways.

The mechanics of the game are easy to learn but hard to master. There are so many ways you can go with anything that at first it might feel a little intimidating. In time you will learn by trial and error the best ways to build your base and survive.

The graphics of the game are simply gorgeous! You can practically feel the warmth of the sunlight on your face when it is shining, and the caves feel cold, damp and dark. You can occasionally get lost in the simply magnificent view ahead of you and just for that moment, you feel like the island could be your forever home.

And then there are the enemies that are a good reminder on why you should leave the island. The enemies are unforgiving and quite frankly disturbing. The first time you see the big monster with multiple legs you will question the sanity of the people that created this game. And then you see the "babies" and you know that at least some of them need some serious counseling.

The mechanics, graphics, sounds and the disturbing enemies, all come together to create an magnificent experience. This experience is best to go through with some friends. Luckily the game has a really good multiplayer system and I cannot express how much more this brings to the game. In single player the game is really good, but with friends it is an amazing journey!

The game is so buggy that I cannot even comprehend how this could have been released in the first place.

- Steering wheel support is none existing. I can use my logitect G29 to navigate the menus but when I actually enter a race nothing works. Nothing can fix this. I have contacted Logitech support and they gave me every possible solution they could think of, I have installed the game multiple times and cleared every possible setting. It works without any problems on project cars 1 so how could they have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this up in project cars 2???
- VR support is absolute ♥♥♥♥. It is so buggy that I have yet to finish one race with my friends. Everytime we try to play together the game crashes at some point.
- When playing in VR it by default also shows the screen to my 34" widescreen monitor. Why? This has a significant impact on the game performance!

Early Access Review
Whitout a doubt one of the funniest games in a while. Still very much a work in progress. Hopefully there will be a lot more to this game once it is finished. The basic frame for the finished game is in place and working beatifully so all the developers will have to do is add is more content.

As a long time fan of the FC games my hopes were really high. But from the very start I had issues with this game.

At the first run the game only worked in 4:3 mode. After some try and error I finally got it to run on 16:10 but there was still huge black bars on both the top and bottom of the screen. Sometimes the game would only display a black screen once started.
This game was obviously designed to run on console. The mouse control feels like it is created as an after thought for the games PC version.

The game is not bad but I was simply waiting for something so much more. The graphics are good but not amazing, the world is beatiful but nothing we haven´t seen before. There is no real innovation in this game. If you have played FC3 you will be straight at home (and bored) with this game.

The best thing about this game is the co-op mode. It is huge fun to go through the land with a friend just tearing a hole in Pagan Min´s forces. If you do not play co-op (or have no friends) my suggestion would be to buy FC3 as it is cheaper, has almost exactly the same content and somehow I find the world much more ineteresting.
