This game is something I think a lot of us need right now: a friendly face and a kind word. It may be short, but the message doesn't need an hour to be told, especially given you can visit Sakuya whenever you like. Mad respect to the writing team for this hidden gem, the artist for making Zun-style art look genuinely cute, and the team in general for giving us a small light of hope in the mess that has been 2020.

My only possible gripe would be that there is no "fight to the beat" option that lets you smash face to the music. Otherwise, it's a more than worthy sequel to the original, with crazy new mechanics and level types that, barring two exceptions (the Wing Chun and Death Zone levels), are incredible fun. Do Silver Dollar a favor and get this when it's not on sale. It's worth the full price.
