For those of us that grew up playing the original on our PS2's, Game Cube, Xbox, VR, Toaster, and Microwave it is easy to think you've done it all when it comes to RE4. Not only does this remake tread the original story paths, it improves on them in every way. It makes one more journey a new and thrilling experience.

As a big fan of all that is Warhammer, and the Tide games before it I've had nothing but excitement for this new Grimdark installment of the seires.

Through Closed Beta 1, the Pre-release Beta, and now the "Final release" I've slowly lost much of my inspiration to play, and my faith in this game.

The time leading up to this has been a spiraling downfall of performance, and quality. One patch the game will run perfect with 60+ frames, and the next i'm down to 15 frames. One day I can play without a single crash or disconnect, the next "Error 2003" & hard crashes.

Of my 48+ hours played I wonder how much of that time has been spent stuck in unbearably long loading screens, or gpu hangs that lock up my PC.

I want to recommend this game, I really do! It has a beautiful world, and addicting game-play, but in its current state this is far from a finished product.

Do not spend your hard earned money, time, and patience on a game provided by a company that does not value its customers.

Fatshark, shame on you.

The game is supposedly completed yet there is little in the way of support. While they may announce a tweak or new ship every now and then, the game lacks much needed balance. The depth of any worthwhile gameplay is completely lost when after waiting for nearly 10-20min to search a game the following happens:

A team chooses and Equalizer (fast support ship) that only elects to cap the forward base with its inbalanced speed boost. You lose.

A team chooses a Ghost (stealthy ganker ship) that only elects to cap the forward base and if your team doesnt have a stealth detector ship (of which it is impossible to know when you will need one) you lose the game.

A team chooses a Centurian (Big Tanky Ship) and elects to only rush the the forward base and wait for it... you lose the game.

While I whole heartedly belive that the forward base and "backcap" tactic is a legitimate one, there are clear disparities within the power levels and imbalance of the ships presented. When reaching higher MMRs this is all you encounter, and with no Ranked or draft mode it really soaks all the fun out of this seemingly promising MOBA.

Until they bring more effort into the game beyond the current level, I suggest you stay away.
