It's another game published by Devolver Digital so the following checklist applies:

-Fast paced hack n slash gameplay;
-Die in one hit, enemies die in 1 hit;
-Trippy drug haze with an unreliable narrator;
but most importantly

-The soundtrack absolutely SLAPS

Never change Devolver Digital!

If you can accept that it feels a bit like a watered down Zero in terms of content and story, but with a better feeling combat, you will enjoy it.

Kamurocho is just fun to explore in general, so I'd say its worth it.

Defs worth playing Zero beforehand though to get the full experience.

But no "breaking za warudo" this game :(.

Another example of the 80's making everything better.

Just a heads up, the game is entirely voice acted in Japanese, so if you don't like reading subtitles, this isn't the game for you.

Pros:
-Great story with interesting characters;
-Fluid fighting system, able to change styles on the fly with one exception;
-Great boss battles and extended fight sequences;
-Good sound design in both soundtrack and effects;
-Engaging substories;
-Well fleshed out minigames such as Mahjong, Bowling, Disco, Karaoke, Phone Dating, Pocket Circuit, Darts, Pool, Shogi, Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, Fishing, Sega Arcade Games (Super Hang On, Space Harrier, Fantasy Zone, OutRun), and Arena Combat;
-Majima's Cabaret Club Czar side story is great;
-4K, uncapped framerates

Cons:
-Minor clipping issues;
-Random cutscenes where there is no voice acting, and other ones where there is voice acting but minimal animation;
-Catfight Club minigame is just Rock-Paper-Scissors;
-Kiryu's Real Estate Royale side story is grindy and boring;
-Special fighting styles cannot be changed to on the fly and must be selected from the pause menu, breaking gameplay flow;
-First 2 chapters are slow

My first experience of the Yakuza franchise, and it is some good ♥♥♥♥.

Rocket League is a multiplayer sports/driving game where you play 3v3 to try and score goals over 5 minutes of play. There are also options of 2v2, 4v4 and other unconventional modes such as Hoops and asymmetric futbol maps.

This game has a very high skill ceiling but is easily accessible to the pleb gamer like myself, and a lot of nuance behind what is essentially a very simple premise: score goals. When you screw up, it's pretty obvious that it's your own fault and the game isn't unfair on that front.

The music in menus are a very small part of the experience, but is quite chill nonetheless.

Psyonix also knows how to do good DLC. The entirety of it is purely aesthetic in nature, and there are plenty of free updates so none of the playing content is locked behind a paywall. The packages are small, morsel-like bites of additional customisation for your car, and as at 15/05/2016, I own 1 DLC currently.

Speaking of customisation, there are extensive options for paint jobs, decals, wheels, antennae, toppers, boosts which helps keep the aesthetics of the game fresh.

I am absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at the game, but it is fun in its own merit and would definitely recommend this game, though it must be noted that the majority of my playtime has been with mates over Skype, so YMMV.

I am really bad at this game, but it still is really fun, which is tantamount to how good it is!

FTL is a roguelike game where you command a FTL ship with many random elements that keep it interesting throughout. The game can run on even the oldest toaster, is both visually appealing and easy to understand, and the music is does well enough to keep on.

I would definitely recommend this, buy it in spite of my terrible review!

Edit: >600 hours in, still fun!

Less than the price of a coffee, significantly better value for money.

Great fun and difficulty, but not so insurmountable even my pleb reflexes can finish it.

Good aesthetic design.

Recommend playing with a controller though.

Defs worth $3.
