I have never seen a game fluctuate this much with reviews. What Helldivers is doing is setting a horrifying anti-consumer presence where companies can change the rules on how you play their game after the refund window has ended. Anyone that doesn't see how scary this is needs to look at this more. Sure, creating a PSN account is simple, but that is just a first step. Who is to say this doesn't lead to more and more changes for other games once corporations realize they can get away with changing the rules and if you don't like it, they start to take away your game that you bought. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if this is Sony or Arrowhead's fault, this is shady and might not be fixable with the community at this stage. The goodwill that Arrowhead had gained in the past for being an underdog taking on the AAA industry with them making great games with player fun first eroded away once this announcement was made, because there is no player first here, only corporate greed.

With the last update, I can get into the game as well as matchmaking. I am impressed with how quickly they were able to fix this issue and I am excited to keep spreading Democracy.
