This game. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
For all its pros and cons I can honestly say the 1000 hours I've put in to this with two of my friends have been some of our best moments in gaming as a small group.
From learning how to actually stealth a heist to finally being able to complete a heist on the new one down difficulty every challenge we faced as a group and eventually overcame until we finally achieved everything we can in this game and it was a honest pleasure to do so
Playing with randoms can be extremely tedious, but as a group of friends this game is just perfect and I could not recommend it more to any group who enjoys
at this point this far from launch day the game has improved immeasurably it controls so well there are multiple ways to build yourself to play on all the difficulties (our group of three each one of us had a different viable build for end game content) and nearly all the heists have a nice touch of variety in to the experience things as simple as a slightly different layout or a different position for a key item adds so much to the game (our group favourite being shadow raid and its many different loot spawn positions)
while the stealth system has a few small flaws it is truly one of the best things about this game many a great moment has occurred while we played stealth from moments of sheer panic as things go wrong to that pure rush of relief as you clear a heist for the first time in stealth and moments of utter shame as your beloved Bearded Dragon sits on the grenade button in the middle of a stealth only heist (they did implement a safety feature as if they knew this was a problem seriously dev team little things like that are what made following the games development a pure joy)
Although I will say if you like your games hyper realistic then this is not for you
The combat can get very intense especially on the harder modes and can be surprisingly relaxing on the easier modes especially once you know what you're doing or have good mouse reflexes likewise the sheer volume of guns you get to play with is staggering. Are some similar to others? Yes, But there are enough differences to make them appeal to different people, not to mention during this combat you're backed by an amazing score of music (if it's not your kinda thing you can turn it off simple as that)
TL;DR
Get a group of your closest friends buy on a sale with all the DLC and sit back relax and pop some helmets and have fun :3 i cannot do this game justice for just how much fun it has been for us!
