I should be able to progress my Season of the Hunt Season Pass and earn the rewards I paid for. It's that simple. Halo Infinite is doing it, Bungie should too. I'm encouraged to spend more time in the game and to buy all the seasons regardless of when they came out. It's a win-win for Bungie and for the players. To anyone saying "it's just cosmetics", are we playing the same game? Destiny is all about "the chase" be it weapons, armor, or cosmetics. Earning cosmetics used to be a massive part of video games before mtx. Y'all have been brainwashed. I'm so glad Bungie has said they want to get away from the FOMO economy cause some of you have elitist gatekeeper mentality and somehow think it's unfair if I earn rewards from past seasons.
