This is to Binding of Isaac what Terraria is to Minecraft - sidescroller and way better

Terraria, Minecraft for the adventurous and people with no depth perception.
Build huge structures you won't see in one shot because your screen is too small!
Kill innocent bunnies that are strapped to dynamite by shooting them out of a cannon!
Have enough different particles on screen to be on par with a MOBA!
Finish the game and then wait a year for twice as much new content!

I bought this game in July 2014, but I've been playing since 1.0.5 and it kind of reminds me of The Sims in a way, cause you never permanently get tired of either game. I personally play them for some time and then leave them for an even bigger while, but then I always return. I always get pulled back into them.

No question that this game is the best sandbox game out there, period.

Edit: Recently got back into this game and there's still so much content I've never seen before. This game is literally endless entertainment if you don't get bored of it.

Edit 2: It is so bittersweet waiting for this game's final update. I guess once that's over, it's time to head on into the world of Terraria mods, which rival even Minecraft. Fun times have been and fun times will be.

Edit 3: God I love this game. And now I've gotten my nephew to play this. And now he has grown to love it as well.

Edit 4: Another final update, another nephew into Terraria. I've been playing this game for almost half of my life now.
