Extremely mid due to tiny maps and bland combat. Hopefully the sequel is better.

This game shines by letting you make a significant amount of choices that branch off into many different endings or dialogues. The major short comings is that it starts to get very tedious in the second half of the game when the dialogues and choices become much more linear and combat heavy. With the ending I chose, it felt just like a slog to the final fight which ended up being very lackluster. The game is very frontloaded with much of the interesting content and politics available right at the beginning. Combat is fun but gets repetitive later on, not too many builds you can do but it's simplistic. This would be a great game for someone who has never played a turn-based RPG before. Overall, it's worth playing and it had me hooked for hours at a time, but definitely seemed rushed and barren towards the endgame.

One of the most visually appealing game worlds filled with tons of interesting points of interests. Soundtrack rivals classics like Skyrim when listening to the ambient traveling tracks. Perfect combat that gets better as you unlock more. Great story, simple but effective and emotional ending.

Spent eight hours on my first save, grew two decent cities in separate regions, and then was challenged by the AI enemy king and invaded. Mobilized almost 100 of my men to defend the city, hired mercenaries, and got absolutely stomped and humbled. Game isn't too complicated but definitely requires some experience to go far.

Feels better to play than MW2. Maps from 2009 are a big plus. SBMM turned up pretty hard though.

The only game in recent memory that actually released in a finished state. I can definitely see myself replaying this multiple times and having largely different experiences. AND they're not charging $70 like most AAA titles these days. SO GOOD.

Perfect mix of COD/Battlefield 3-4, and Squad in a low graphic environment. I really enjoy the weapon customization and how large scale the battles can be. The proximity voip that can be used to talk to teammates and enemies alike makes it super fun and produces some unique moments. Absolute steal for $15. Grab the supporter pack as well.
