Good game.

Only compliant the UI. Not too bad, but not great. Nothing that would ruin the game just a little annoying from time ti time.

I have not played many hours, but I have failed a lot.

If that is not something you are willing to tolerate this game is not for you.

This is a challenging game, but if you are capable of risk management, learning and adapting you will succeed. If you are capable of knowing when to retreat and cut your loses you will suceed.

Not a bad game, but I wish I would have waited for a sale.

I bit surprised by somethings after playing another game from this dev. There is really limited design options in this game. If you want trees the game decides if it will put trees where you would like or not. If it does it decides the type. Sometimes it will put nothing, sometimes bushes, sometimes trees and sometimes both. Design of the park is just placing buildings somewhat close to where you want and selecting the orintation you would like. A bit frustrating at times if you are trying to make things just right. Maybe with some more experience I will figure out how to manipulate the terrain tools to allow me to place buildings closer to where I want them.

Magement for this game is not challenging at all. My first park and I was making more money than I knew what to do with almost right away. I did not change any settings so what ever the default is maybe way too easy. Maybe the other islands get a little more difficult.

Despite the above my overall experience has been good, not great.

It does have it's charm and it is a bit fun right now to hop in a jeep or helicopter and roam about your park doing things like restocking feeders, tranqulizing dinos that managed to get out of their pins, taking photos and administering to sick dinos.

I have not noticed any bugs so far.

IMHO this game is good, but not worth the asking price. I would recommend waiting for a sale, but if you can not wait it is not a terrible buy at $60.


Up Date: After playing more I discovered somethings that just suck the enjoyment out of this game.

Placings buildings can be a pain. The way it is set up once you get stuff already placed the terrain change smay keep you from placing dow other buildings. SO you have to delete the already placed buildings. Sometimes several that are good distance away. Then use the terrain leveling tool and hope you got it right. If not you have to either just accept even if the space is available you can not place the building.

The game is no challenge. Just build a viewing platform and dinos and you are good to go. You will make money. It did not take me too long on each island to earn more money than I could spend. The parks on most of my islands have over $65m in the bank and increasing. Way more than I can spend.

Dino magement which is the main focus of this game is rather easy. Even for the "harder" to manage dinos.

The missions can be a challenge at times.

Dino behavior is a bit bland most of the time. Would add a lot to the game to at least have them get into scuffles everyonce in awhile. The only time it happens is with carnivores and you place a certain number together. They will fight, but the victor will not become the alpha. Herbivores do not stick together in herds. They just roam around and only come to together when their socializing behavior triggers. Which is not too often.

Little annoying quality of life issues kept poping up. There are times if you misclick there is no going back.

Accidently hit the button to incubbate a dino there is no turning back. Even with a penalty. Nothing you can do, but wait and either put that dino in with another to be killed or sell it.

Accidently click on a dig location and there is no turning back.

Hit a button to bring up the window to send ranger teams out on task. Once you set their task you can not just 1 click back to assign another team task. You got to close out and reopen the ranger menu.

I just kept running into minor annyances as I played. I am leaving someout for brevity.

Fun game if you do not mind failing. A lot of planning ahead, conservation and thnking things out is involved to insure survival. I jave found almost every map offers a little bit of a different challenge to overcome. It will be either water, power, food or a combination that will be a challenge to aquire enough of. So at time you have to try something new to survive. If you like to adapt and anle to learn from your mistakes and enjoy that type of challenge this is a very good game for that.

So far so good. If you like crafting games you will love this game. I have run onto only minor bugs and not that many and not that often. Pretty good for an early access game.

If you rush the story line I guess there is at least 24 hours of play time. If you are a completionist there is much more time involved.

Fun game. A bit grindy, but still fun. even the missions just hopping across the Channel and back.

I waited for a sale. However after playing I do think it is worth it even when not on sale.

If you like WH1 you will like this. It is WH1+ with the refinments introduced in WH2, larger map and more opportunity to fight different factions.

Improvment compared to the first. I'll just leave it at that.

I do have one complaint. The BAI seems to bunch up range units.

Worry the whole time something is coming to kill me.

Runs great for me. Only issue I had was the first time I loaded the game. I stared at a black screen for about 4-5 minutes.
I alt-tabbed out and saw it needed premission to access the network. My guess it was the DRM trying to verify.

In case you were worried that a partnership with AMD my result in poor performance for Nvidia. It runs great on my rig.

CAI and BAI perform adequately and IMHO is an improvement over other titles.
