Toby Fox has created a game that represents the spirit of independent video game development. Not that I would know what it's like to develop a video game, but he probably had a lot of fun making it. Just in the few hours that I've played it, I've found many secrets and I can tell that so much work was put into Undertale during its development cycle. I adored the story and the gameplay is unique. It is similar to games like EarthBound, and it even reminds me of Dark Souls just a little bit. I just wish I had gone into the game completely blind, because it would have been even more magical.
