Yes, tentatively.

Look i love games like this where you cant just go nuts and build everything and go big right away. Its strategic, its ment to be a little painful and thoughtful on how you expand, where you place defenses, how many you place.

Here is the issue, its a bit too unforgiving.

i get that the game is ment to be a bit strategic, i get its not ment to be a super factory builder like factorio or any other insane factory builder game we have. Here is the thing, when power is so hard to come by that i cant actually get to decrypters when i need to, or im so limited on space and power to effectively do everything, then the game needs a bit of a revamp.

i love the game and it has tons of potential but right now be careful if you buy this game. Its still in super early access, and while the dev is active and always listening, has an idea for the game that might not line up with a lot of peoples for a game like this.

TL:DR - good game but needs nerfs/buffs to certain areas.

look, i love warframe and destiny 2, i went into this with mediocre expectations. i mean come on its nexon, im not gonna go in with hopes and dreams just wanting a somewhat decent game. nope. just nope. loading screen times take way to long for shaders, movement is, well, mediocre at best. open world is small and instanced, movement would be great if you could actually use it without being stopped by invis walls ever coupe a moments. oh did i mention cutscene after cutscene after cutscene with no real gameplay within the first 30 or so min.

look, if you want a warframe experience go experience it for yourself its free and better then this game. if you wanna play destiny 2 go buy the expansions and play the game. dont play this its honestly not good unless you like mediocrocy.

Alright like ive only got about an hour in this game as of writing this review, while i recommend this game for its cheap price and surprisingly deep and amazing talent tree that is 100% random every run. there are some things that i would change slightly.

Firstly pierce, as in the talent that gives you pierce, needs to be a little more common on the tree for archer. this is potentionally, for archer, the most important talent to find and get as soon as possible due to the fact that past night 10ish the mobs group up so much that only hitting one at a time does next to nothing unless you have .2 attack speed and even then its still sketch as hell.

BUT, and its a big but, both times ive played where about 30 min runs and i beat both runs, now i dont know if its because i figured out that attack speed and pierce are god like or if im just super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lucky but i do believe the game could do with a slight difficulty upgrade in the beginning, i understand that there are mastery levels for more difficult runs in the future and amazingly there is a speed up button after the first run, but when i think rogue like i dont think im getting to the final one, be it a final night or boss or what ever, on the first run. i do strongly believe in meta progression and slowly working your way up to beating the final run then increasing the difficulty to get more meta progress and so on so forth.

This does not make this a bad game as i do enjoy how simple but intricate the game can be. other then pierce being a bit more common the only other thing i would ask of the developer/s is to add some way to help measure the distance the abilites or attacks are going. i found it difficult to guage that on the map.

All in all, good game would recommend, still in early access and cheap but worth the 2 dollars.

Look, I don't normally play games that can only be described as "experiences". Journey was one such experience I couldn't take part in that was and still is an amazing game to play and experience. This Game is short, if you take your time you can get through in about 3 to 4 hours, nothing crazy but, the Experience of playing this game is worth the price ten fold over.

I wont spoil anything because i do honestly believe that if you love experiences and works of art then you should without hesitation and just play it.

I don't write reviews, partly because I don't care to, and partly because most games aren't worth the time. This is one such game that is not just worth the time but worth the money and time.

And simply because i can, dark black water thats freaking deep is seriously scary. very well made game.

sooooooooo great game. great game.

let me just say that its very much just a one hand game where you just kinda go ham with the other hand if ya know what i mean.

Great content great for if your looking for material, but not a crazy story and there is alot to find so worth the price and great game honestly.

So i generaly dont like episodic games that cost money, i've had bad experiences with said games how ever i believe in Pixelfade and i LOVE their other games so ill take a leap of faith with this one and play it as the episodes come out.

With this said let me give a brief review on episode one and ill edit as episodes come out. Currently there is only one plot line. that being everlyn, her being brought to our world and trying to get her back thats the plot.

In said plot i see two maybe three romances, one being everlyn herself, second being the raven haired female whos name is escaping me at this moment and the cousin. Knowing pixelfade the cousin wont be even thought of. so that leaves two the raven haired girl and everlyn who gets more time in episode one hence why i remember her name.

Currently with everlyn i see one of two options playing out for the romance of her. Either she stays and wants to be with you or she goes but wants you to come with her. Either way it will be nice the whole plot line I would like to still have that plot line when going for the raven haired girl but currently too little info on her to give any idea of how that will go.

Currently not bad kinda lacking in the story as far as introducing characters, episode one or the first act or anything like this should introduce ALL the characters in detail and for the player to decide right then and there whom they are going for. currently this doesnt do that im sure we will get more raven haired in episode two but we will see.

As for the plot of everlyn should you choose the raven haired girl i would like to still see that go through and just have her take longer to romance then everlyn and still almost get the bad end for everlyn but continue the game for the good end for the raven haired girl.

Thats it so far this is all for episode 1 when episode 2 is out ill edit and update :) good job so far more story on some charatcers but get that in episode 2 i trust you pixelfade.

sooooo let me start by saying i might not have a lot of time played. and it might not increase all that much from what it is right now till this game gets MORE than what it has.

With that said i do like this game the puzzles are confusing the first time through and who ever made them was a genius. The amount of items is ok its not a lot but not too little either i feel the items are just right i just wish there was more to do with those items we get maybe a way to build more or faster or fully automate things. im not 100% sure but its good.

i will say however that for someone like me it makes me think about the placement of things before placing them down and thats a first for me to do in a game like this. in factorio i dont really think i just place. in this i think cause the building cost increases for each of the same building.

I did how ever get to point where i basically filled in all the water built mining lasers on the outside of the map. built quarries a few ways in then another mining laser line and just got so many resources i couldnt build enough furnaces to keep up :/

but fun none the less i would recoomend

So let me start by saying i don't have much time in this game and that my problems aren't problems that can be solved from getting further into the game. As far as game play and mechanics its actually pretty solid, the passive skill tree allows for a good amount of freedom on par if not slightly over or under POE. The combat is quick at least early on and from what i can tell any path is viable.

Currently i have only been a caster using primarily lightning but again the mechanics seem solid. there are few issues with a few spells but nothing i'm sure that will stay that way once beta comes as of writing this review in only a few hours.

And while i'm sure most if not all of my problems will be solved in the beta i still feel it should be said in case others haven't had these issues or they aren't fixed till later down the line.

1. No map of the overworld.... So this is a big one for me i like being able to see a bigger version of my mini map, and seeing as, in the overworld at least, i cant do so kinda sucks. You can press tab while in a tiny dungeon or i'm sure any tiny instance to see a bigger version of your mini map but for when your in the open world, so to speak of the game and you get lost cause you can only see a small portion of the map kinda sucks.

2. the Mini map is slightly and i do mean slightly off. What i mean by this is that your character can appear on the mini map to be next to an entrance to something a small one but you cant get through that's cause the mini map is off slightly. small problem but still a problem.

3. movement is sometimes affected by something not there. here and there ill be holding my mouse button and just hit an invisible wall even in a LARGE open area, and just stop moving.

So far this is all i have issues with i would also like a way to toggle loot visibility but i'm sure they have that already and i just haven't dug far enough in the setting to find it.

that't it, its a good game comparable to POE with again more or less passive skill combinations and more to come based on their passive skill tree look. The effects are good and the graphics are pretty good as well runs great on a ♥♥♥♥ pc for me so should do fine. if your looking for a decent game i would get it though nothing can really beat free to play POE :/ sorry wolcen.
