An absolute triumph in graphics, story, world building and game play diversity.

- Graphics are probably some of the best I've ever seen in terms of overall detail & consistency, on high/very high you can literally SEE grains of sand on the beach, you can see them stick to Aloy's clothing & skin. The sunsets and sunrises will afford you with CONSTANT screenshot worthy views, the underwater content is detailed and you'll find yourself staring at sunken ruins and schools of fish and rays swimming by.

- The Story builds upon the first games fantastically, and shows the long term growth of a diverse cast of characters both friends and enemies. The environmental storytelling and lore datapoints really put you in the minds of those who wrote them, both via environment and writing. If you played Zero Dawn you'll really want to play this as face animations, voice acting and character motivations are all MASSIVENESS improved.

- The gameplay has a lot more depth than in Zero Dawn, mounted combat, status effects and different weapon techniques not to mention an array of machines that dwarfs Zero dawns. The machine design, sound and visuals are absolutely incredible and will keep me coming back to this game for years to come.

- All in all an excellent port with minor visual and performance issues that will hopefully be fixed in the long term. Considering we've had around 4-5 patches already I'd say that is a good bet. One last thing I really wouldn't recommend playing this on anything below a 3060 ti or equivalent. It's doable but you will have to sacrifice graphics fidelity and in my opinion that is absolutely one of the selling points of this game.

All in all an underrated gem, oh and ♥♥♥♥ clamberjaws.
