When I started playing this game, it was like a fresh breath of air from the smog that's been the gaming industry recently.
And it still rules!
Victory through democracy!

This game has come a long way. I've played since it first came to steam, and the difference is shaking. In my most recent playthrough, there was such an incredibly higher amount of content than last time; Sometimes I get worried about the development of this game, i.e. how are they going to make Maen and the Council a reality at this pace? And then I recall that the game's good enough for me to spend ~160 hours playing it.

Strike The Earth!

What a wonderful title. A beautiful love-child of Pulsar, Lost Colony and Space Station 13: The incredibly rewarding cooperative experience of Pulsar, and the movement, complexity and potential for trolling of Space Station 13. A truly fun adventure to experience with a group of friends; close or not, you'll all ♥♥♥♥ your pants when you see your first Moloch and will never hear the word 'breach' the same.

Great game. I can't explain it well, but it covers history decently (better than decent) and it has a great story.

this game got weiners warning

It's a great game, and the problem with well-equipped players shooting up new spawns seems to be getting better. However, there were still a bunch of times where I would spawn and some bastard would shoot me up with his m4 like two seconds later.
I would recommend getting it if you enjoy more of a survival game over DayZ, although it has some influences from that game aswell. The building is really cool once you get enough wood and metal. BE WARNED, THOUGH - PLAY WITH FRIENDS. You will collect things much faster and it's alot more fun to have a group of friends to live in your home with you.

All in all - 8/10, with two points taken away because of the community's behavior towards fresh spawned players.

edit: wrote that review when i was like 4 years old this game is a pure embodiment of the human condition and it will require you to bully multiple people to the point of death 10/10
