This game is a lot of fun. It's quite a bit different from the alpha. Some might say it's a worse version, but I don't think it's necessarily worse, just different. It's a lot more exploration focused with character progression revolving more around increasing the efficiency of your utility items (boat, reins, lantern, etc) as opposed to just making your character an unstoppable 1-shot machine.

Combat is a lot more enjoyable than the alpha and gear upgrades feel much more immediately impactful. Getting around the map is a lot easier as well with the addition of shrines for quick travel and flight paths. Instead of dictating your power with levels, it's all gear based. Meaning you can catch a friend up to your power level really fast so nobody feels left behind. You also don't have to waste several levels worth of experience just to unlock boats/gliders/reins like the alpha. Once you find them, they're immediately usable.

However, It does have a few flaws. Having to re-find your utility items every zone gets a little annoying. And your direction heavily depends on getting town and roaming NPCs to give you relevant information on quests. If they don't you might feel a little aimless in a new zone.

Overall, it might not be for everybody, especially those who are averse to large changes. But it's still very fun especially with a group of friends. At $20 I'd say it's well worth the price tag. Especially if it sees future updates and improvements.

A relaxing experience for all boat enthusiasts.

Super simple concept: soccer with cars. Easy to pick up and learn in less than 5 minutes but with the mechanical skill ceiling so high you won't hit it until you live and breathe rocket league. The most tactile game I've ever played. Well worth the purchase

The skyway's the limit. Crashing into oncoming traffic at 125km/h with 20 tonnes of yogurt is doable. This game is the bee's knees and everybody has an inner greasy trucker that would love this game.
