The same level of curiosity and excitement I felt entering a different castle back in 1996.

Had a rough opening weekend with servers, but zero crashes or disconnects since for me. If the game had a flawless launch this would probably sit at Very Positive. Playing this entirely solo, and it's an absolute blast. Tons of variety in enemies, bosses, zones, and loot. Gun play and ability mechanics feel powerful and natural. Story is engaging.

Literally just bought this game earlier today without any prior knowledge about the developer. I only went off of the videos/screenshots from the Steam store front.

Let me tell you, this game is worthy of the price tag and runs incredibly smooth. You can normally tell with indie titles the kind of quality you'll get within the first 5 minutes of playing, and I instantly knew I wouldn't regret my purchase. The game is linear, so if you are expecting a vast open world this isn't that kind of game. You play as RPG archetypes as you make your way through a dungeon with various floors. The characters are incredibly charming and fully voiced acted. Interface is professional and easy to use. Turn based combat feels rewarding and all the character's abilities work in harmony to create some very interesting encounters and combos. Every character has their own skill tree, and you can customize their gear/items.

The story is silly, but that's what makes this game fun. It's almost as if the developer's are poking fun at the genre, while nailing all the elements that make this genre amazing. Kudos!!
