Say what you want about the graphics. Once i saw those blue, glow in the dark eyes, coming at me from out of the woods.....i was sold!!! Very immersive game!

The learning curve is very high but also very rewarding. The game is going free to play so get it!

We might be looking at the next epic space game. For an early access game, i can tell you it's not a waste of money. I am happy with the amount of content this game has so far. The "one man dev team" does a good job at adding new material and fixing bugs with each patch. I for one want to be a part of watching this game continue to grow and develop. I am excited about the future of Ascent. In my 40 hours of playing, i have seen a steady increase in player population. The game is definitely heading in the right direction. Now if this "one man dev team" can pick up a few more team members that share the same vision.....well hell, this could be my next addiction. I know my $20 went towards a gem in the making. Dont get all sore about the small monthly fee ( optional ) for the premium account. You can still do almost everything in the game without it. I for one, will have no prob paying the 5 or 6 dollars a month extra so i can use mining beams higher than class 5 or make my space station larger or what not. I have a job, i work for a living. I too, need money to maintain. So please dont let that discourage you from buying this game. Ascent-The Space Game is a must buy for anyone who has ever played ANY space game before this. This Dev has a dream....and im excited to see it brought to life little by little. Grats go out to the "one man dev team"!!! Keep up the good work :)
