There once was a Mandalorian warrior by the name of Ankin Cassus. He became the patriarch of the Cassus clan after his father On'deru died. He was a valiant warrior with a wife and 3 children, one being adopted. He once lead a sizable mandalorian uprising called The Bleeding Skulls. Until one fateful day, his remote headquarters was discovered by New Republic forces. They waged a seige and bombardment on the outpost for a solid day. Ankin and his family and army faught valiantly, however, his forces lost heavy casualties. Ankin himself being beheaded by a Jedi that lead the attack. The Mandalorians were routed and the battle lost. His family escaped, but split up due to the chaos. This is a monument to Ankin Cassus and his honorable goals of reestablishing the Mandalorians as their proud and honorable warrior race yet again.
