It is an awesome game!
After playing Age of Wonders 3 for years, this game produced all I expected and more!
There is different research tabs with different things to research, more and different units and different factions with their own advantages and disadvantages.
There is much more to take into account but the way the originally old-timed game style was incredibly well done when they turned it to a futuristic version of the game I loved.
It's a great game and if you are looking for a good TBS game with updates and DLCs to come then this is a must have game!
It does not mean there are downsides but there are always solutions to the problems so you might have to do a little digging for the answer.

One of if not the best game I've played in ages. Looks awesome, Gameplay is awesome and overall a good time!
Free-to-Play and no need to spend money as well as more and more updates adding new and more exciting features!
I highly recommend this game and for those who already play, get you're friends to join! :D

there are always network problems on a fairly good game which just messes up my fun and all my expierence.
