There are many eccentricities in the interface that can be frustrating, but it's a sandbox that lets you commit more economically expensive atrocities than most large-scale war crimes, and it has a special place in my heart.

Time for crab.

Problem: Valguero map appears to be installed, Steam window opens every time I try to join a Valguero server prompting me to "download" or "play game".

Solution: Burn everything to the ground

Solution: Quit Steam (don't ctrl+alt+del to end process), restart Steam, on Steam desktop app, go to the store and look up "Valguero", hit "play game". Then wait for that dumb crap to download even though you were sure it was already installed. Finally, rage silently that programmers left a few dumb lines of script in the program that redirect you to the wrong things every fricking time you try to figure out why you can't play the map.

I have no review. I just spent two hours trying to play this map.

This game and its predecessor are worth every dime for the amount of entertainment you get out of them.

From an independent publisher, you seldom see such unabashed candor and humility in developing such a consistently entertaining, challenging, intriguing, and rewarding game. I have wasted my life on these games and turned to Buddhism in hope that reincarnation is real. RoR is worth multiple lifetimes of investment.

If you're reading this to determine if it's worth spending money on, I hope the choice is clear.
