I first played Sunless Sea shortly after it came out, and enjoyed it plenty. I didn't get most of the references to Fallen London, but then I had never heard of Fallen London at the time. Now, as an experienced FL player, I love it- much more so than before. To sum up, it's a good game if you don't play any of Failbetter's other excellent titles, but if you do it's a masterpiece.

CardLife is a fairly simplistic game, with little crafting to be done and few players on the official servers. Its rumored status as abandonware might scare away new players, but it's absolutely worth playing in its current state. The cardboard cutout aesthetic and highly customizable tools and building pieces make CardLife a solid title in this user's eyes. Granted, it isn't for everyone. If you're in it for PvP or cooperative play with strangers, then you might be out of luck. But if, as I am, you want a chance to build pretty much anything you want in a relatively interruption-free environment, then CardLife just might be for you.

10/10 would build angels of robotic death again.
