Love, Money, Rock'n'Roll is a visual novel ♥♥♥ RPG by those folks who brought us Everlasting Summer as a free VN a few years back. The Soviet Games team has been working hard since then on developing this game for us to enjoy.

Great OST sound track is my initial impression. LMR has a large music library in its OST.
In that regard, it is similar to its preceding game, Everlasting Summer, which is one of my two most favorite visual novels. ES also had an outstanding sound track with a large number of selections in its music library.

I am just starting to play LMR but thought I should write a few comments by way of a review.
I plan to update this as I gain more full familiarity with this VN/RPG by the Soviet Games team.

The story follows the adventures of Nick {Nikolai}, an Russian expatriot high school senior attending an exclusive Tokyo school. He is trying to unravel the mysteries evolving around him; Relationships with current and former girlfriends and classmates; Mysterious threat notes left at his door in the middle of the night ...

You know just ordinary everyday HS stuff happening.

Nonogram Kindom is a fun diversion from RikkiGames Limited {the spelling is correct}
NK may be learned quickly from its starting Tutorial ... Even I could figure it out :steammocking:
There are several tracks to follow with frequent game Rewards as one progresses.
A potential drawback {depending upon your 'druthers'} is it lacks Steam Achievements :steamsad:
BUT the "Price Is Right" ==> FREE to Play :steamhappy:

Shelter 69 {S69} is a different sort of single-player, on-line, anime, Hentai, post-apocolyptic RPG idler from JNT Games {developer & publisher} with many aspects.

I am revising my assesment to "Recommend" the game with a conditional warning.
S69 does have several redeeming points in its favor. It's FREE to Play ... and fun to play.

EDIT: The Devs continue to add to Shelter 69 which now is up to Chapter 7.
The suspense is gripping. What will happen next ? Will the Overseer {me} survive the perfidious mechanations of the evil Tavernese Mob ? ... {anything for Badge points :steammocking: }

The Devs and their Mods are very attentive to Bugs inputs from gamers and move fairly quickly to correct problems. JNT Games maintains a Discord channel for quick handling of gamers' feedback. A gamer may set up a Discord account at no charge and download an app that may be setup to open automatically on PC startup if desired. Discord sounds an inobtrusive chime whenever there is a new input { it may not be on the channel you are following }

However, gamers should be aware that to progress quickly in this game, it may be necessary to expend not inconsiderable real $ money for such things as VIP advantages and faster build up of rewards.

But, Gamer is able to advance at a reasonable pace in S69 without buying these “Specials”. One simply will not keep up with the pace of those paying $Buck$.

It's FREE to Play, so it won't hurt to give it a try !!

I did not do it,but you might want to consider taking advantage of the JNT Starter Package for only $5 to make the beginning easier. That would make the game cost only $5, which is very reasonable for this game. If I had it to do over, that is what I would do. To date, I have built up my “Shelter” to Level 7 with most of my “Champions” well into earning their 3rd Level of Trust ... All without spending “real” $ money.

Some of the “Tags” applied to S69 include: time management, strategy, dating sim, base building, and 2D-to-3D {ala the style of Disney movies from the '50s}.
There are 37 Steam Achievements, the progress for which are tracked in-game.
There are 2 good Guides available. Both are by “God of Snacks”.
The game “Store” offers many special packs of game resources, NPCs, etc. ...
Some may be purchased with game currency, but many require “real world” money {$ etc.}.

Beware of content that, in the words of the publisher, “... contains content not appropriate for all ages, and is not appropriate for viewing at work: Nudity or Sexual Content, General Mature Content, some references to Substance/Alcohol Abuse.”

S69 has a decent story line, with humorous dialogue, in a setting that is a post-apocolyptic world {with a “twist”} about 130 years into the future. This is not a nuclear wasteland over-run by hordes of undead zombies. The apocolypse is that males have petered out, with almost all remaining men being held captive as sperm “donors”
{ Oh, the horror :o: !! :D }.

Now YOU are the ”Last Free Male” {MC, sometimes labeled “Player”} <maybe>, for whom you may enter a Name to personalize your play ...
Women reign over this wild, bandit-ridden world and males { of which most women have heard only rumors ;( } must be sheltered and protected. Your Mom had hidden you as a child in a remote bunker with decades of provisions and a stern warning not to emerge until you reach adulthood. Well, you now are an Adult and have started looking around the outside world when you encounter a strange being ... a FEMALE !!

Build and improve and defend your base {the SHELTER}, recruit, train and lead new followers {unfortunately ALL female ;( }, equip-promote-revive-romance-etc them, reconnoiter the environs, deal with outside leaders/bandits, etc.

HOWEVER, if you are OK with that ... OR if you are willing to grind slowly
{without succumbing to those P-t-W temptations} to get those 37 Achievements,
S69 can be fun. I plan to continue on to see whether I can attain 100% Achievements ... WITHOUT paying for game assets with real $ money;
i.e. Restrict myself to buying “Store” goodies ONLY with internal game “currency”.

re-Edit: I should add that the females are not depicted with massive “H-cup” assets.
The girls look rather normal {sort of ... as anime NPCs go :steammocking:} with cups ranging from B AA to D ;) {oops ... just got a new younger Gamer Girl :D}

CRIMSON GRAY {CG} is a psychological “slice of life” visual novel with emphasis on slicing. The mood is very GRAY-to-black, with some CRIMSON thrown in. The tale is well written and deals with the developing relationship between two high school students; John {Gray} and Lizzie {Crimson}. CG has 10 Steam Achievements. A Guide by the Developer is available to help in reaching 100% completion should you run into problems finding your way.

There is some nudity and natural sexual activities, as one might expect of a consenting couple. There are multiple endings, including even a Good Ending, IF one makes the correct choices. BUT it is so easy to make a slip. CHOICES DO MATTER.

You play as John, a young man suffering from severe clinical depression. He wants to help Lizzie resist her deadly urges and somehow achieve a level of happiness with him. John is under supervised medication with pharmaceuticals made by a large corporation. He is losing his sense of purpose in life, with his world usually seen through a fuzzy gray fog. You take over just as he is beginning to lose all hope.

And then ... John meets a girl ... a very special girl, with her own severe problems. Her problems have their origins in her mother's participation in a rather questionable and risky prescription drug research program while pregnant with Lizzie. As a result of this, Lizzie is living with a major chemical imbalance affecting her mental state. Lizzie exhibits an amazing knife-handling skill but is especially fond of her axe when it comes to handling any problem. The large corporation {of dubious reputation} is in the background and could pose a major threat to either of them.

I recommend this excellent visual novel to all Steamers who can tolerate a potentially depressing story and who are not offended by nudity and sexual activity.

CRIMSON GRAY: Dusk and Dawn {CGD&D} is a psychological “slice of life” visual novel that can be bit heavy on the slicing {not as much as in the first episode however}. The mood is very GRAY-to-black, with some CRIMSON thrown in. There is some nudity and "natural" sexual activities, as one might expect of an unmarried college couple. There can be a Good Ending, IF one makes the correct choices. BUT it is so easy to make a slip.

Lizzie's favorite tool is an axe { hmm ... Lizzie ... axe ... where have I heard of that ? }.
However, fear not because she is particularly adept with knives as well ... and various other methods for removing “problems”. She rather spectacularly removed a really major problem at the “canon” ending of CG and is now keeping a low profile to remain unnoticed.

I recommend this excellent visual novel to all Steamers who can tolerate a potentially depressing story and who are not offended by nudity and sexual activity.

This FREE-to-Play visual novel/dating sim with Choices That Matter, Moe Era also includes some deep {for me} philosophical content. The situation involves a multi-subject "teacher" and four fellow high school classmates in a special 5-student class. The game opens with a crisis that only you can resolve ... Your life-story book is blank !!
The 3 female classmates offer to, nay - insist on assisting in finding/writing your story.

The game has 4 principal "endings" with a total of 12 "hidden" Steam achievements. One must stumble through a series of Choices that determine the path your "story" will take. The game has an excellent Gallery that captures good pictures of the characters in many poses throughout the VN.

Free-styling, I wandered to a meh "Friend-zone" non-ending. Fortunately, there is an excellent Guide that one may use to find all the Achievements.

Onii-chan Asobo is a really easy, very Adult, 100-percent-er visual novel ... Steam registered its single Achievement within only a click or two.

This is a simple kinetic visual novel with no choices. The precept involves Onii-chan, a developer of hentai games, and his now grown sister, Ai. One day Ai abruptly shows up at his small apartment, announcing that she's moving in, and declaring she wants to learn how to write hentai games just like her big brother does. All Onii-chan has to do is teach her how to write hentai ... among other things. How could he refuse his cute little {formerly} sister ??

The game presents a multitude of naked &/or incestuous situations. For some variety there also is a cousin ... one must assume of the kissing variety. There is a rather complete Gallery so one need not necessarily take screenshots.

I would recommend Onii-chan Asobo only for those looking for easy Achievements and who are not offended by incestuous hentai.

College Kings - DEMO { CK } is an immersive "Free-to-Play" Early Access Adult Only visual novel with “choices that matter”. It certainly delivers on its tags promising hentai nudity with sexual activity ! But, on the other hand, CK does make effective use of choices to drive the male protagonist, {one may enter a name or accept the default} Alex's, story direction as he struggles through his first year at San Vallejo College.

Gamer's choices are very effective, as Alex encounters various fellow students, professors, and other characters in numerous challenging situations, in gradually { or perhaps precipitously :D } developing his 3 KCTs {Key Character Traits: Confident, Loyal, Popular}. These KCTs have definite effects upon his relations with others and upon what happens to him. Will Alex be an aggressive Fighter King, or a firmly non-fighter academic ? Will he be a hyper-active womanizer, or a loyal one-woman man ? Will he be a loyal good buddy to his acquaintances, or prove to be unreliable ? Will he independently follow his own path, or make decisions that improve his image with the crowd ?

This DEMO lets the gamer sample a bit of the spectrum of college life and its temptations, but cuts one off just when it starts to get really interesting :steamsad: The final game release could provide an interesting Character Management experience.

Longing Ring of Esca {LRE} is Steam-Tagged as an RPG, but I would classify it as a Visual Novel with strong rogue-like RPG/Dungeon-Crawler elements. At its heart, LRE is a Love Story, believe it or not !
Esca as the female protagonist is a proud royal Holy Knight who becomes betrothed in the game opener to Thayne, the leader of the Royal Guard … Thus the ”Ring” of the title.

The Kingdom and its castle become overwhelmed by a large bandit horde led by an “evil” villain wielding dark magic. Esca is captured and hauled off to the bandit base for the entertainment of the troops. As the sole surviving { as far as Esca knows } Knight, it becomes Esca's bound duty to escape bondage, retake the Castle, take revenge on her violator, rescue her Fiance, and free the Kingdom's citizens … WHATEVER personal sacrifice it takes !!

LRE definitely “earns its wings” as a Hentai-Nudity-Sexual Activity game. So if those latter elements would bother you, this would be a good game to avoid. Should you play anyway, heavens forbid that Esca should lose to a monster in the dungeons !! And beware the Traps ! However, through judicious { & frequent } use of the <Ctrl> key, it is possible to minimize one's exposure to the seedier facets of LRE.

LRE has 3 difficulty levels, with Easy for gamers interested in enjoying the VN story. Esca is voice-acted in Japanese. LRE has English subtitles. During dungeon crawls, I encountered occasional CDT's, but it was not excessive.

While LRE lacks Steam achievements, it does have internal achievements in the form of CG's to keep track of one's progress in confrontations with the many Monster-types through the numerous levels of a long series of dungeons.

FEATURES
WEAPONS: Esca can find 9 different “Sticks”, swords, etc., which may be enhanced or weakened by Scrolls, potions, or enemy “Traps”.
FASHIONS: Esca can collect something “north of” 15 different outfits with varying levels of protection and/or exposure, depending upon one's “druthers”.
ACCESSORIES: 9 Rings with differing effects to assist Esca in her struggles in the dungeons.
ALCHEMY: Numerous potions to heal Esca, or improve her weapons or armor, or manage the proximity of her “evil” pregnancy.
MAGIC: Many Scrolls and magic Staves.

I recommend Longing Ring of Esca as a good { I was going to say “decent”, but reconsidered :D} VN/RPG hybrid that can provide several hours of entertainment. I bought LRE on sale and would suggest waiting for the next sale.

BTW, I was not able to get Screenshots <F12> to work. Probably the game-engine won't support that ? If you have GeForce GALLERY installed, you may capture screenshots using <Alt><F1>.

DWA is an interesting FREE "Choices Matter" Visual Novel / Dating Sim, in which one attempts to develop a meaningful relationship with Abbey on a first date in a local bar. There are 9 Steam Achievements each of which requires a certain combination of conversation choices. There are 3 voluntary Donation-to-Developer options on the store page ... Do not yet know what, if anything, is provided for the donation.

I proved particularly adept at finding my way to "Thrown Towel" ... Not a good end ;(
There is a 100% Achievement Guide available, should one feel the need to throw in the towel on self-achieving ;) It took me 2 casual, slowly progressing, hours to 100% DWA ...
BUT I'm sure you could do better !

BTW, this game is not intended for easily offended, intolerant teetotalers :cozypoesad:
The Dev has added a Fast Forward button to speed up the rush for 100%-ing DWA ;)
