This is a very polished and fun to play game.

Went from easy 100+ fps to less than 30 with a significant visual downgrade, and the fov just feels radically wrong.

Sorry, I wish I could like this game. I just can't run it on a 1070ti with 16gb of ram I was 100%ing both at 1080p low settings and only getting 14fps. At low settings the UI loses all antialiasing and becomes illegible and because there is no UI scaling settings it was tiny to begin with. UI as the commander is also just unusable, not even related to the game being early in development it's lacking simple things like highlighting selected options or commands possible for a given unit.

Wait for this game.

Yo legit this game is the bomb.com and I would love to buy the megapack but it's a little bit overpriced and it's the only way to play with the great guns without pouring like 800 hours into this game.
Overall it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic I would love a Battle Royal game mode.
