I actually really loved this game. It had some glaring shortcomings in a few spots but they were easy to ignore with how fun the game is. In fact, so fun that I would like to continue playing it. The problem is, I can't. I can't because this game freezes randomly and I am simply unable to figure out why. The worst part is, neither can anyone else. The number of players over YEARS with these same issues posting all over the web with seemingly zero answer or help are staggering and it seems very much like Paradox doesn't actually care to fix it. I really hate that this has to be a negative review but the unpredictability of the freezes means that I can play for seconds or days between freezes and the number of times I have lost significant progress to these freezes means that I am angry much of the time with this game and that's no way to live life. So, sadly, another one for the round file.

This won't be a long review. I will say this. If you like city building games and responsive studios, this is the game for you. There are freebees still being added to the game to this day. Little things that you would normally have to purchase in a DLC are given to us. Support from the studio is amazing. The gameplay is amazing. The ability to mod is amazing. The workshop content is amazing.

If I had one complaint, it would lane management for traffic. This has been worked on though and is already better than it was just a couple months ago. With that being said, traffic stops being as much of an issue once you understand the mass transit options within the game.

Buy the game. It is worth every penny.

If you like high speed FPS games, this is the bees knees. If you don't, don't buy it.
I have been playing CS since WAY back in the way back. This particular version is every bit as awesome as the past hits in the series.

My only complaint is the boxes and microtransaction crap. When I pay for a key to a box and consistently get the crap sandwich items in the boxes I open, I don't want to buy your stupid little keys anymore. A little more balance for purchased items might be advised.

As many reviews state, this game starts out amazingly. Once you figure out the 3 things to do though, you are done. There is no taking over rival factions or expanding faction space. In fact, the factions may as well not exist other than to proivde you with dynamic enemies.

The appearance and interface in this game is great. I just want more guts. The core is so flacid I simply stopped playing due to boredom. Stories and missions are mostly a joke. Go assassinate this guy. Go do this. Go do that. Fly for hours between. It just ends up being grind for the sake of grind.

Get it on sale. Play for a bit. I got 8 hours out of it and will probably spin it up again in the future for another hour or two.

At any price over $10, this game is not worth it. I got a solid 8 hours of play out of it before I had officially ruined the game for myself by figuring it out. I played for hours beyond the 8 trying ever so hard to make it difficult again. It never worked.
The problem with this game is that there is a formula for every action. Once you figure that formula out, it isn't fun anymore. It would have been a great addition to something that is a little more grand strategy like but as it is now, it is a rather dull flop.
Really a shame. I wanted to like this game.
