Maybe this will fix War of The Roses for you

Possible Fix If Your Game Won't Start, But Did Before!

Click on the Windows start button in the tool bar.
In the search window write %APPDATA% and hit the "enter" button.
Here you should see a folder labeled "fatshark".
Delete the the folder with all files.
After you've done this try starting the game.

Be aware, the video and audio settings will be reset to default.
