6/10 (some light spoilers so be warned)

Pros:
-Movement is really tight and snappy
-The enemy variety is great (especially the sword enemies)
-The encounter design and platforming section design are, for the most part, pretty great

Cons:
-The puzzle sections. EASILY the worst part of the game. They completely disrupt the flow of the game and serve no purpose. They take away all of the cool movement too. The way it works now is that you do a puzzle, unlock the ability, and then do a tutorial for that ability. We should instead just unlock the ability, and have a level that introduces us to it by forcing us into a situation where we can utilize the ability. Kinda like how Valve introduces new mechanics in Half Life.
-The story. Yeah, yeah, you can ignore it, but it doesn't make it any less dumb.
-The first and last boss fights. The tower feels poorly designed because it's basically an autoscroller that punishes you if you go too fast, which feels antithetical to the game's main appeal. Same with the final boss, feels too much like an autoscroller. Which is strange because the second boss is actually really good and plays to the game's strengths, having you parkour around to get closer to her, then parry all her attacks to get an opening.

Don't get me wrong, the game is still fun, but the fun parts are only half the game. The other half is terribly slow puzzle sections and puzzle-platforming sections, which really hold this game back from being something special. A level editor and workshop support would easily make it an 8 out of 10. Imagine an endless supply of great encounter designs from the community. I strongly urge the developers to add a level creator.

A game that seems braindead in the beginning, but oh so complex when you begin to realise that this is literally soccer. I definitely recommend it for anyone who likes sports games or racing games. Or even if you hate both of those. I'm not a fan of sports or racing games, but this is worth a try for the exerience you'll have.

If you don't have this game, what are you doing? One of the best fighting games out there, Skullgirls offers a cute cast of characters all with amazing depth in their gameplay. 1 character teams to 3 character teams is a unique concept. We've seen one character fighting games such as Street Fighter, and we've seen 3 character fighting games such as Mahvel.

I got dunked on. You can also get dunked on. Purchase this wonderful game.

This game... it's just... not good. It's pretty much a dungeon crawler with a top-down view. But that's the whole game. That's the PROBLEM, the game never expanded on the story, never explained WHY we needed to explore the dungeons or anything like that :/

First off the controls are terrible, couldn't you have just made a WoW movement system, instead of arrow key controls for WASD? and the combat is SO SLOW. it takes like 3 seconds for an attack WHICH USUALLY MISSES!! Don't get this game.
