AI is better but still has issues. My SWAT pointman with a shield decided it was smarter to look ahead at a hallway and completely ignore a wide open door to his right.... he was shot and killed by a suspect on the other side of that doorway....

I then peeked the door to take out the suspect, couldn't see ♥♥♥♥ because the maps are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dark, (let me increase my gamma without messing around with my monitor!!! And the flashlight cone is so small it's useless.) the suspect peeked me so fast I thought I was playing R6 Siege. We traded about half a mag each and he went back behind cover. I tried hitting him through the cover, heard some moaning and thought I got him, then the suspect peeks me again at FTL speed and my game stuttered so bad it was like watching an autistic kid chat up a girl for the first time, then I died. Felt a bit cheated with that one tbh.

Also had a mission where I cleared everything but there was a civilian yet to be rescued. I searched the entire map two or three times and found nobody. I thought you could now order your AI to secure everything at the end? Every time I tried doing that they either only searched the room I was in, or they ignored my command and defaulted to falling in.

I can accept AI still being stupid and needing some hand holding as we haven't reached true ChatGPT AI yet, but the performance is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad that the game is nigh unplayable! I have a decent rig which used to run the game fine with high settings, no DLSS, 80+ FPS. Now I have everything set to low or medium, DLSS-Quality and some scenes I'm getting a hilariously pathetic 20 FPS..... Fix that ♥♥♥♥ ASAP! How am I meant to watch for sudden movements from suspects if all I see is a slideshow?

If you just want to order your bots around and be a true commander you'll have fun, but if you're like me and want to actually shoot some bad guys in between commanding your squad, wait until the game is optimised because it's impossible to tell what's happening in the middle of a gunfight when you mix the extreme suppression, pitch black maps, stuttering and low frame rates together.

I bought the Supporter Edition the day before the game launched.... kinda regretting that now lmao.

I bought the game two days ago and now it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ goes on 50% sale..... F M L
