I think this game is a great with just a couple small gameplay hangups. The gameplay itself is great and likely what has drawn so many eyes as the gunplay and calling down orbital strikes is incredibly cinematic and fun. The higher difficulty missions are what really make the game shine in my opinion as theres nothing like getting swarmed while shooting orbital laser cannons at bile titans. I've put about 15 hours into it at time of review and I'm a bit concerned with the later tiers of the battlepass, but not that worried as they have stated all battlepasses will always be available and do not go away like normal ones do. As for the complaints of locking weapons and armor behind the premium battlepass which have gameplay effects I have just now after 15 hours gotten the premium battlepass for free which I think is fair. The one thing I will warn people of is its currently annoying to matchmake as a lot of the time you'll be joining ships that are already full wasting about 4 seconds per try but I usually get a game within a minute of trying.

Probably the best 10 bucks you can spend.

The game is in a very good state now and the music, gunplay, and combat in general is exceptional. Definitely one of the best games of the year in a very stacked year. Much better in coop but single player is very fun as well.

The new expansion is absolute excellent and the spell baubles make the game feel much more customizable which I love. Absolutely love the new storm tree and using it and my friend is very happy with the update to unholy.

I want to start off by saying that this game is very enjoyable for 5 hours or so. Depending on how you value your time and amount of funds I would definitely recommend this game.My main issue with this game is that it is to my understanding finished. There has been no content updates since it released in September of 2021 which as of this writing it is February 1st 2022. The only content that has been released in that timeframe is bug fixes and winter cosmetics. I will say the art in this game is incredible as is all the small things you can do. At least an hour and a half of my playtime is just enjoying all the small things that they put in like how the crushed up herbs/ores look when you throw them around. I would love more than almost anything for this game to come out with substantial updates but while I see improvement/updates from the artist there has been literally nothing shown from the coding team on this game. I understand that it is a small developer team of 5 people but to release the game and then not put out any significant updates at all aside form a dev blog showing the difficult in implementing their truly beautiful water pouring makes a potion craft enjoyer sad. I will look forward to any and all release from this developer but he most enjoyment you'll get out of the game currently and for the foreseeable future is about 3 hours.
