I recommend this game because you get to build planet sized factories, fill entire oceans with concrete and block out the sun with a dyson sphere 10/10 will ruin planets again.

gameplay is similar to factorio, not quite as polished but easy to get a handle on. planets having actual orbital mechanics is cool.

the different planet biomes with unique ressources that make things easier lategame encourage interstelar travel.

all in all i enjoyed my time so far and dont see myself stopping soon.

the combat is not a selling factor for me as you dont get a lot of tools for the job but im guessing future updates will help with that (interplanetary missile batteries and stuff would be cool)

Armored core on PC, smooth controls, good graphics and more fps than ever before.
I have been waiting for this for a long time

honestly like the game, reminds me of supreme commander with less issues when it comes to large troop concentrations

Love the asthetics, love the music, love the gameplay, love the idea behind the game.

a naked stranger walked into my base, ate a bunch of raw potatoes, puked all over my fridge then froze to death... 10/10

played it for free, gunplay is slugish as hell, movement flows less, gunplay is not enjoyable, impossible to figure out who is an ai and who is a real person as everyone plays like a bot, they got rid of squad deathmatch and team deathmatch, the ammo pool you start with is less and you will never ever get ammo from a teammate.

overal im very glad they made this free to play for a while because i was thinking of buying it.
Now i dont.

great with friends, terrible with randoms.

its a nice loot shooter, campaign is decent, some nice combo possibilities with equipment and abilities. End game is entertaining and while i haven't played a lot of it yet i keep coming back for some more expeditions.

Be aware though, the cover mechanic is not really something you are gonna use a lot as killing enemies is the main way to regain health and combat tends to be very fast paced and aggressive as enemies keep pushing you at all times.

Some frame rate issues and the online experience is hampered by the connection type as it is peer to peer i believe and lags a lot at times.

campaign can be beat solo even on world level 15. expeditions on the other hand need at least two people to finish in the fastest time possible

Edit: After playing through the campaign and doing some expeditions they updated the game while i took a break from it. Now i cant play it anymore without the game crashing not only itself but my entire pc.

I was expecting the pretty rough state of the game to pass, not to become worse. Gameplay and story is still good mind you but there does not seem to be any progress in making the game function better.

skills cant be activated at times, enemies seem to take less damage than they should with skill based damage varying wildly with no real reason i could discern sometimes between 50k and 120k damage with no additional buffs or debuffs applied to either me or the target.

ill give this game another go in about three months, who knows it might work by then.

Edit2: Now they patched framerates, legendary lootrate and stability for mp... gave it another go and only got disconnected once when the squad leader was somewhere in asia or something. Works decently now even if I gotta rework all my builds, once more I can recommend it
