From Swords and Sandals to the Spartacus xbox 360 arcade game this game completes the holy trinity of arena sims

The melee combat is absolute trash in this game and it's riddled with bugs, go play mordhau. To break it down melee mechanics are horrifically inconsistent such as riposte which should reward quick reactions but it doesn't when your opponent can always follow up with a block and the rock/paper/scissors balancing of weapons is poorly done. Don't even get me started on hit detection and the awful hitboxes... The game is also missing a massive number of quality of life things such as class customization at the menu thus forcing you to edit classes mid match.

Game is starting to live up to its' potential with the new skill trees! Can't say I'm a big fan of the toughness system though, wish it was an actual overshield not just a mechanic to make all damage chip damage. I'd also be fine with it if they went back to the temp health system like in vermintide 2.

It's a decent game I won't lie but it gets to the point where you can't remain a f2p player once you can no longer farm orbs from story missions on the regular. The game has horrible gambling rates and the microtransactions are diablo immortal level expensive... Don't waste your time!

I don't know if I have the words to properly describe how good this game is... bosses everywhere, massive world to explore, amazing weapons and abilities and so much more!

Class system was a beacon of hope but little did we know it would restrict and ruin the game further smfh... had the easy job of giving that other gadget slot too and still spit in our faces... Given dice chance after chance to make up for this blunder of a game but dice died awhile ago and so has battlefield... I tried giving this game another chance after a while and updates just continue to ruin this ♥♥♥♥......... They literally pseudo deleted casper by nerfing his drone, no more emp... nerfed the spotting range.... it was the one counter to the jammer and now it's useless and people have been screaming for a jammer nerf for months!!!

Should be called Halo Combat Devolved...
