This is great

The developers are just really, really stupid.

There are so many ideas here, and so much potential, but they always make some hairbrained mistake in execution.

Example, in the initial release there was several towns where you could trade goods. now theres almost no towns where you can trade goods, and theres only a couple things, and you can get a "buff" to get it back to normal.

Complaining on the forum gets you banned. extremely stupid people running this game

Not many games have the simplicity and complexity i like. but this one does.

This game is on the lower end of what ive played, in terms of quality.

I did a runthrough of about 15 hours with the controller so far.

The controls feel super clunky, but they made them work. Most annoying is probably anything to do with the inventory, which feels almost so clunky its hard to do anything with on the controller. stack splitting items/gold and managing who has what... not good.

Its easily possible to just flat out miss most of the content in the game, even if you devote a reasonable time to exploring. If you want to play without a guide, its like buying a lottery ticket whether you will be able to or not. since they wanted such an open-world feel to the game, it feels like your a blind person in a room fumbling around.

You don't have much choice of who your companions are or what gear you have, at least so far.

This is one of those games where the reviews lie about it. its simply "okay". should be about maybe an 80% positive or less.

I spent hours getting everything perfect only to find that the devs, in one of the dumbest moves of all time, put a melee stat cap of 35.

someone with the common sense that the devs obviously lack put a modding thingy in the forums so you can get rid of this dumb design decision. but you shouldn't have to.

aside from this, the game is good and i would have left a positive review, but this is just breathtakingly stupid.

There is literally no way to win as berserker. This is a huge flaw in the game. I have about 120 hours, most as berserker as i played it wanting a challenge. I beat the game with warlock already. When i got to level 13 (almost max level), i had 77 strength, the strongest melee weapon in the game, and infinite blades skill. I went to fight the frost god. Did the infinite blades skill. Only 1 damage. Went to fight the mountain god. Only 1 damage.

This is TERRIBLE design, needless to say. the game is still fun but they get a negative review for this oversight. (I didn't die either time just for reference but i suicided shortly after because there was no way to win the game).

They ruined the slayer class by taking away its additional action.

putting negative review because i didnt like the demon ending. demon ending should be that you become a demon and join the horde
