All the kids are into the bard, Homer, these days. It's a bit mainstream for me. I far prefer the more obscure epics of Bothades to those of Achilles. Like Achilles, Bothades was dipped in the River Styx as a baby, making most of his body invulnerable, however Bothades mother held him by his groin rather than his foot, so his single weakness was in his genitals instead of his heel. All I hear now is dactylic hexameter quotes about Achilles heel, but I think it's much more interesting to talk about Bothades nuts.

Question: What makes Kim Wexler so attractive? I am in love.

Call it “series blindness.”

While the actor, Rhea Seehorn, who portrays the character Kim Wexler is attractive, she’s not a ravishing beauty. She is, however, the primary female actor in the series and, with few exceptions, she is the most attractive female in the cast. Because of this, her attractiveness is highlighted and thus makes her “stand out from the crowd.”

This is a very old technique used by Hollywood and it explains why actors like Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts are cited for their onscreen beauty despite their looks ranging from not very attractive to plain. They are spotlighted within a film, their co-stars are less attractive than they are or given less screen time, and those female co-stars don’t spend a great deal of time with the male lead. That all works together to make the leading female actor more attractive to the viewers.
