A great roguelike deckbuilder.

Lamentum is a game of outstanding quality (it surprised me to know that it was made by a dev team of only 2 people at the time of this review) and a very fun ride if you are into classic survival-horror and the eldritch.

Be prepared to backtrack and inspect every little nook and cranny and then some if you don't want to miss stuff like ammunition and secrets, some of which are missable and can lock you out of certain endings, but if you don't mind missing some stuff along the way and you are okay with whatever ending you get and just want to have some scary fun, I am sure you will have a less stressful experience than I did, lol.

All that being said, as stressful as it may have been for my OCD / completionist heart, I recommend it and can't wait to see what is next.

I loved this game from start to finish.
A bit on the short side, taking me roughly 7hs to finish, but was worth every minute.

Awesome soundtracks & addictive gameplay are the essence of this game.
If this doesn't leave you wanting more, nothing will.
