This is the single best railroad operations game on the market.

It's truly a "magical" experience. You feel as if you're performing and learning the magic yourself. The recreation of Hogwarts is quite amazing and the music that goes along with it is wonderful. If you're thinking about getting it, do it.

First off, I want to start by saying I have a lot of time in firefighting games (EmergeNYC, Flashing Lights, Into the Flames). This one is better and more complete than all three. It's great, but it's not perfect.

Pros:
Fire looks amazing
Water looks amazing
AI firemen are smart (for the most part), helpful, and easy to control
It's a stable game (you firefighter game fans understand how crucial this is at this point)
Forcible entry through doors and windows is extremely satisfying
Ventilation through windows by either opening them or breaking them makes a difference
You can break windows using water pressure (how cool is that?)
True MSA SCBAs (Self Contained Breathing Aparatus) and Rosenbauer Trucks (I prefer Pierce but beggers can't be choosers)
Can play multiplayer with 3 other people
Backdrafts can happen!!
Grease fires and electrical fires react differently
Game has a whole runs and looks great

Cons:
It is mission based, not open world. This means you click on a scripted mission and play it, you don't wait at a fire station for a call to pop up.
Sirens are on an uncontrollable loop, no Q sirens (yet)
Cannot ventilate through the roof using the K saw
Not a wide selection of tools (could use a pike pole, roof hook, venting fans, deck guns, etc)
Can't run when carrying people or hoses (This isn't a huge deal but can be annoying)
Extension ladders are pre-deployed, you cannot deploy them on your own

Of course any of these things could be in development for the future but I am not sure.

I was really picky and the cons that I stated are all things that would be nice, but this game is still amazing without them. If you're like me and are sick and tired of being disappointed by lackluster firefighter games, then this one will pleasantly surprise you. It can be intense at times and you can even employ semi-realistic firefighting tactics. I highly recommend this game (first time I've ever said that about a firefighting game.)

So if this is what you fancy, put on your turnout gear, don your mask, grab the hose, and have fun with this wonderful game.

Seeing Britannic as she was during the war vs how she would have been is truly an emotion experience. Even the tone of music is touching. Amazing....absolutely amazing reproduction of the ship. I recommend bouncing back and fourth between the RMS Britannic and HMHS Britannic and seeing the differences. If you don’t know these guys, they’re working on a full fledged Titanic, even more in detail than this. Please support them. They do amazing work and if you’re any sort of ship history, war history, or any history fan at all, you will love this.

I once gave a good review. Game still doesn't work after years though so I can no longer recommend it.

This game is extremely fun and super hilarious. Get ready for great teamwork, poor teamwork, hysterical ship names, hysterical shipmates, and all around good fun.

If the developers keep putting in the work and us gamers keep playing the game, Flashing Lights will be amazing. Already a great game to play by yourself or with friends. Beautiful vehicles with a good amount of callouts. A few bugs here or there but of course, it’s early access. For only $15 you should totally get this game and join the online community. You won’t regret it!

Don't know what all the "not recommendeds" are for. I've played this game for plenty of time and it is so much fun especially if you want to jump in a train and drive it. If you want a really really detailed simulator this is just about there, the addons are really nice, some of the details are off but it doesn't take away from driving a long freight train through the countryside. I recommend this game to anyone and everyone!
