This is easily my favourite DLC added to the game and I would say at least 90% of my games are now played using the new Civics and Origins.

One of the best playthroughs of Stellaris was when I combined the new "Eager Explorers" civic with the "Doomsday" origin only to spawn in system on the edge of the galaxy and my jump drive not in range of any nearby systems, it was a race to not only rush the tech to use the hyperlanes but to also find a nearby planet I could move my pops to.

Overall i'm pretty happy with this DLC, maybe there are better DLCs out there to purchase if you don't already own all the DLCs, however, if you do own all of them then this will be a nice addition to your collection especially if you enjoy exploration and story content.

- The new civics are interesting and add more flavour to empire builds
- The new Astral Actions are a nice touch, a few could use some work but most offer some nice additional bonuses
- The new relics and bonuses for completing Astral Rifts are pretty strong and worth your time
- Lots of interesting events and additional story content unlocking over the course of the game making the exploration part of the game more enjoyable and last a lot longer.
- Astral Rifts can branch off in different directions meaning when you encounter an event during another play through the outcome will be different (if you choose different options of course).

Maybe it could be a little cheaper but either way i feel I'm getting my money's worth.

Easy to learn, difficult to master. A great game to kill a little time, very addictive, visually appealing, great soundtrack. An overall pretty solid game.

A great addition to the Age of Empires franchise, feels like AOE 2 with some nice new mechanics, beautiful graphics and good sound design.

This game is incredible, I haven't had this much fun playing a co-op game since the portal series. Can't wait to complete it and play through again as the other character. 10/10 would recommend.

After putting a little over 100 hours playing on and off in the early access I can safely say after completing the full release that this game has far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys story driven survival games. It has a fun story, interesting characters and awesome building mechanics if you're into building large bases. The game also does a great job of rewarding you for exploring every inch of the yard with lots of hidden secrets so leave no stone unturned.
