Although as of writing this review I just got the game on Steam, I have already been playing it for a couple weeks with the original Amiga and MS-DOS releases from way back in the day (I'm livestreaming it once a week and started with the Amiga version but switched to the DOS version as that version runs smoother and sounds louder than the Amiga one and has better save management). I've never played point-and-click adventure games before and Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb is my very first experience with the genre, and it is one that I dove in completely blind, without the aid of any walkthrough of any kind and I must say, I am extremely glad that my first experience with the genre is being such a wonderful one!

As of writing this review I am still early in the game and only just managed to free Rif's friends from the dog castle, but I already fell in love with the game while still having hardly even left the starting location. The voice acting is great and fits the characters really well, the music is enjoyable, the writing had me laughing out loud very often and the art... Oh man... I'm a sucker for good art and designs and this game sure delivers on that front. The art is simply beautiful! I did have some troubles with a couple puzzles, but nothing that made me think any less of the game. In fact, the sense of accomplishment once I figured them out only reinforced my recently acquired love for it.

Overall, this is a game I absolutely can highly recommend for anyone who enjoy good writing, beautiful art, well composed melodies and is looking for something different to play. This is a game that will have you engaged and maybe even with a smile on your face from start to finish. Before you know it you will already have spent several hours in its world and not even notice it, like I did. Plus, apparently the developers have been working on a sequel for a couple years or so.

In my book, this game gets a 10/10 and I hope anyone who plays it may enjoy and love it just as much as I am.

I'm a computer technician in real life, build and fix computers is what I do for a living and I actually really enjoy my job so I might be a bit biased to judge this game, but I do have to say; it is fun as heck. Apart from some more than tolerable inaccuracies, it gets stuff mostly right and is a fun experience. And without the stressful hassle that it is to deal with people, which I personally find to be the best part of all! lol

My only "complaint" is that not even in the game I am capable of affording to build me a new PC to replace my current 10 years old rig. ;-; 9/10 will keep playing!

P.S: Can we have fewer clients asking for benchmarks, please? K thx bai.

I've been playing it since it was launched to the public as early access. Love the game, even though I suck at fighting games and can't get past the level of "buttons masher". lol Regardless, I still like TFH and it has just been getting better and better with each update. The art is amazing, the soundtrack is amazing, the dialogues are hilarious and the voice acting is definitely not far behind, even though it is essentially just quotes.

MANE6 has been doing a fantastic job on this title and I definitely recommend it.

One of the best games I've ever played and also the best simulator to my knowledge. Relaxing and enjoyable to play. Beautiful graphics and extremely well detailed trucks and physics. Although it's a simulator, it's very easy to pick and play. It controls very well on keyboard but if you can play with a wheel, do it!

I recommend this game for anyone who enjoys a good driving game; or just a good game in general. If you had a tough day simply start up the engine in your truck and drive around the beautiful roads of Europe and relax. And if you get bored, just smash into the traffic. lol You can always load a save later at any time.

Tons of options to costumize your truck and make it unique are available and SCS (the developers) are always adding new content to keep the game fresh and also fixing any problems they might find.

The money you spend on this game will be worth every cent. This is a must have!

10/10

P.S: There is a multiplayer mod, by the way! Get it for free and show your amazing truck and driving skills to literally thousands of other players. Make friends on the road and drive in convoys around Europe, if you wish! The fun is doubled in multiplayer but also is the stakes. After all, you won't be driving with the AI, anymore. You'll be driving with real people, each with their own mind, ideas and driving skills. Almost like in real life! Except that in here, you won't be sent to the hospital and your truck to a scrap yard if you have an accident. :)

It may be old but it holds itself quite well and owns nothing to any other newer game of its genre. Well made mechanics, pleasant soundtrack, very user-friendly interface and comes with a level editor for the players to create their own maps as they please if they get bored of the game's singleplayer campaigns. Speaking of singleplayer, the game also features multiplayer. You can ally with friends to win a map or battle between yourselves to see who's the best strategist. Hours and hours of fun are granted with this classic from the 90's. And if you need a break, the game allows you to save your progress on a map whenever you wish and resume from where you left off. Definitely a must-have if you like strategy games. Best strategy game of all time!
