How great is it that in our day and age we can run into a group of giants at lvl 2 and get smashed... BUT IN VR !!!!!!!

To start I think all I wanted was a solid comparision to the Fallout 4 VR "experience". I had pretty good time in fallout but have always loved the Elderscrolls more than the fallout series so this might make me slightly biasd over all but for game play comparison that shouldnt matter, so who had the better launch day game .. Skyrim without a doubt! I also think Skyrim VR right now is still better than current Fallout 4 VR but not by much.

Now this is what put it all over the top for me, i put about 30 Mods in and it looks GREAT! now i have a 1070 and an i7 3770, and i have super sampling maxed out and 30 mods going and my computer isnt missing a beat. Now for people who dont know a ton about modding ( me included ) im going to link the a youtube video that will show you step by step how to set mods up in Skyrim VR and i also link a reddit post that has an ongoing list of mods that currently work in Skyrim VR.

Now as i do think Skyrim VR looks good and is fun i cant stress enough how much better it looks with the mods!!! The steps in the video are super simple and the reddit post links you to each mod so this couldnt be simple i highly suggest getting the mods!!!

So now for the game play and all the good and bads!

Pros:
- Archery is fun! ( make sure your controllers are on the right hands or itll feel really bad, also i suggest turning on "realistic archery" in the settings and thall make it work great! )
- The world looks amazing ( especially after all the mods )
- All the settings youd ever need are in the game! ex. Supersampling, domanint hand, height, and much more!
- Combat feels prettty good, now i know alot of other people are complaying about the close combat being to easy but im okay with that to be honest and if it seems to easy I think turning the difficulty up might solve that problem!
- The way you veiw the map is neat
- Other than that all the rest of the pros are just things that have to do with it being skyrim and its so cool being in VR with it!

Cons:
- Bethesda PLEEEAASSSSEEE give me hands or go all out and give me full arms!!!!!!!!!!! I understand the map works best with controlers for hands and even some of the menus do to, but I mean switch me back and forth at the very least. ( To be fair if you're only holding a single weapon itll show your non dominate had as a hand .. but thats not enough )


But over all it seems to run great and feels great!
