a warm summer night in the canadian countryside. Jaki left the celebrations inside the cabin to take in the quiet grandeur of the sky above. everything had been worth it. the drama. the allegations. the cheating. the hate. the love. they did it, together. as he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath of the rural air, he felt a sharp sensation in his back.
“right click!” whispered Jay, as he wrapped his arms around his teammate from behind. Jaki could smell the alcohol on his breath, and Jay could smell it on his. “I’m so proud of you,” his grip grew tighter.
“hey that tickles,” laughed Jaki under the night sky. they both roared with joy, a bond forged through the hottest of fires. they tumbled to the ground, Jay’s grip growing ever tighter. “hey you’re holding me tighter than the trophy!”
Jay froze, lifted his teammates chin to stare him directly in the eyes and say with every fiber of his being “you are my trophy”

The mental pollution of sound bites, the dizzying and ceaseless chatter of television and computers, the constant assault of advertising seek to fill the void with a virtual, image-based illusion... Many who live in the United States, plagued by its consumer culture, waste their energy attempting to satisfy the insatiable demands of an all-consuming self. People have become cut off, engulfed in the fruitless search to find an unachievable happiness in the things they accumulate, the experiences and products they are sold, or the careers they have built. The promised self-fulfillment, of course, never arrives. Consumers are prodded with even greater urgency to seek solace in newer products, greater opulence and increased status. The frantic search for happiness is endless...'

Hey man, so glad we were able to fully connect with one another after meeting up at the I Beam. The gluten-free eats we had when we got back to your place were to die for. Not just the fish but the asparagus too. Dessert had to be my favorite part though. When you ate strawberries from my butthole I squirmed so hard. The whipped cream all over your face when we got done was a nice touch. I just really wished we had worn condoms. I'll let you know if I pass my tests. xoxoxo
