An absolutely intriguing experience among card based roguelikes, You aren't constricted by the cards you find, deck size is always 20 cards and your sideboard is infinite which is already a massive upside to this style of game for me. The meat is the combat system, which encourages thinking several steps ahead, as you're able to see the enemy actions one turn before you have to react to them (with defensive Block cards). Every class has its own pair of gimmics , from the Rogue with simple stuff like DoTs and Combo Points, Witch that builds up potentially self damaging effects for absurd damage, or the Monk, that plays a bunch of cards that work the turn after the one they're played in.
Great game, well worth at least checking out if you like this specific subgenre.
