It's a Pearl, really.
On more then one occasion, this game absolutely blew my mind.
It's hard to say anything about it without spoiling it.

If you love a tough challenge, this game offers lots of different game mechanics that are finely tuned to ruin your day.
The basic gameplay is easy to learn, but building a functioning base that lasts a long time is hard to master.

I really like this game and highly recommend it for anyone with a strong will to survive the inevitable. xD

The graphics suit the game very well, and the gameplay is fairly balanced considering it is still Early Access, with lots of new content being added regularly.

I like a lot that the actual game is free to play. You can even unlock all sorts of vanity items, even though you need to buy a copy to use them. But the core game itself, with 4 basic SuperAnimals, all the gameplay features, weapons ect. are 100% free.

If you decide to buy the standard copy of the game, you can unlock and use almost all SuperAnimals and vanity items, except Founders-Edition ones.
Pay once, get access to everything. <3

No paid Lootboxes, no pay-to-win whale-milking.

The Founders Edition just adds a few more skins and highlights your name ingame as a founder.
A nice touch for those who show their support. <3

This Game is getting worse and worse since the 1.0 release.
Yes, they fixed some bugs. But they also introduced a ton of new buggy mechanics, as well as an ingame store for even more cashgrab, instead of fixing the game.
Cheaters are still a very common sight.

The game's netcode is utter trash, and so are their EU servers.
Latency changes drastically each time you connect to a new match.
26ms, 50ms... sometimes you get a server with over 100ms ping.
Even if you have a server with low latency, there is still about 3-10% packet loss every now and then.
(I'm sporting a stable 400mbit cable connection, no problems of that kind with any other online game)

The game mechanics, especially the weapon/hitbox physics are horribly unreliable.
Shoot someone in the face (aiming) with revolver 2 Meters away: under 20% damage to their healthbar. (Lag? Spread?)
Shoot and visibly hit someone 4 times to the chest with SKS, they just turn around and oneshot you with M4 or Scar from 50 Meters away (twoshot, if you are wearing lv2 armor and lv2 helmet, and of course their first two spray shots hit and knock you out instantly)
A squadmate once shot (and hit) someone THRICE with M24 and that guy was still running.

The worst thing in my opinion is the totally inaccurate Killcam, which isn't even barely in sync with what a player has done, seen or aimed at. My Squad got at least two cheaters banned by report, but most of the time it is just impossible to tell if someone was playing fair because the killcam is doing wierd moves, or lagging behind the actual movement. (Even CoD4: Modern Warfare had an accurate Killcam 10 years ago)

Another thing that bugs me a lot is the discrepancy of audible noise between your instance and the server.
You can go sneak around with your character and literally hear nothing, no indication of your own footsteps... and everyone else around you will hear your steps as if you were running normally. You cannot rely on the noise you make. EVER.

This game is frustrating trash, and it is getting worse.
I cannot recommend this any more.
