If you are into hack and slash with buxom Shinobis, (a) that's pretty specific and (b) this is great. The fighting system is really fun and comes into its own once you progress to the Yomi Training end game section. Only downside of sorts is the VN part of the story section to get there; to be fair, it's got some funny 4th wall breaking in it especially Neptunia's lines and funny social media/gaming Janglish from Yoh Gamer, but it doesn't half drone on overall, and you may find yourself zoning out in this bit of the game. I found OG Senran Kagura games to be a lot snappier from memory in their VN sections, but it's kind of a small downside, you can skip or fast forward if it gets boring. Otherwise, on sale it's a lot of fun and it's unfortunately probably the last we'll see of Senran Kagura. End of an era, but there could've been worse send-offs. Gambatte!

Was a latecomer to Far Cry and first played this in 2021 - it hooked me in with a great story and lots of derring do either via stealth or running and gunning. Ubi recently put the achievos on Steam and I had three left to do for completion, and just playing it again pulled me right back in! Seems Vaas was wrong, doing the same thing over again is actually a lot of fun. Big recommend!

A nice, short, fourth wall breaking psychological horror. Story is a lot of fun but gets a little bit lost near the end if you are achievement hunting; I think if they'd integrated a few more clues maybe via emails and Kinito questioning you occassionally on why you are doing other things in the O/S than following his instructions whilst playing would help direct the player to investigate more in general. Still, great for the price and some nice creepy moments! And who doesn't love Minesweeper?

For the price of a pint (don't drink and drive though kidz) this game is a lot of fun. Remember playing it when it was a demo and really liked the aesthetic, the music and nostalgia for the twisties in Corsica and Sardinia. Old school arcade solo racing game, beat the clock to get achievements and on the online leaderboard. Bish bosh done.

What a great little puzzler - Escheresque models are presented to you to move a block from one location to another where some of the puzzles are simple and others not so much because of the way your eyes and the lines can trick you. And in the background there's a Doki Doki Literature Club / dystopian HAL like feel to it - the game makes you feel like it wants to interact with you more than it lets on! Fun way to pass an hour or two!

If Steam doesn't have a greatest game in the universe award yet, then it should start it this year and this is the obvious and only contender.

Just finished the Talvisota DLC and I really enjoyed it. Really great to have a less visited part of the war brought to life, with lots of great sounds, environmental details and missions. Would highly recommend to those new to the franchise as some of the better singleplayer missions to learn from as you get to control smaller groups and can learn and play their functions better with a little less pressure than in some of the bigger scenarios with the Soviets and Germans, where there is often a lot to get to grips with at once. Those bigger scenarios are also in there for Finland too in some of the missions so there's something for everyone and all you learn in the raiding type of missions you can then apply to the bigger battles.

Get your inner Simo Häyhä out sniping, get yourself some Finnish sisu and start raiding those outposts!

Early Access Review
Great little indie shooter that does exactly what it says on the tin - pew pew. You and your team are hardened dogs of war sorting out 'situations' in the micro state of Turdavia that no-one else will touch. You have the tools and you know how to use them. Wetwork, hostage situations and other threats are your bread and butter, and you'll get called to do them day or night. Weapons, skills and challenges are nicely balanced and the harder levels keep you on your toes. Nice little touches as well, like smashing windows to get a shot on a target, randomised ammo/health/armour drops and dealing with sleeping combatants if you do a job at night. Get it, it's a lot of fun and a steal! (And I love the intro music!)

A fun-filled, fantastic game in single player or coop! You are a miner looking to get resources from the planet Hoxxes, and have a trusty pickaxe to get the job done. Easy, right? Well, the locals in the form of various weird and wonderful creepy crawlies aren't going to let you get away with that so easily. So, you are also equipped with fancy weaponry to assist with that task. Read the caves and the wave of attacks, position and fire, cover and rescue your friends and then get back to work, mining, as management will be nagging you in the meantime, there are quotas to be met!

Once you've completed your shift, kick off your boots, put some creds in the jukebox and grab a beer from Lloyd, best darn robot bartender from Timbuktu to Portland, Maine. Or Hoxxes to outer Andromeda, for that matter. His brews also have a little extra that might assist (or hinder, depending on how many you down) in your next assignment.

As you get more experience, deck yourself out with some new threads, new weapons and take on a deep dive or five to really test your skills as a Lord of The Deep and get those minerals back to base. After all, management will be pleased... eventually.

The devs are great, always adding new content for free!!! and making this a super moreish game to come back to again and again. This game is so much Rock and Stone, lads!
