Unfortunately, paid mods have returned

I should clarify that I have over 600 hours on the other Skyrim on steam, as they have split this into two games.

Unfortunately, I just cannot accept what they are doing with attempting the paid mods again. It is only actively hurting the modding community with what they are doing. It is a shame really, as so many people love this game and what we (The community) have done with it and made it our own.

If Bethesda want to profit from a 13 year old game more, give it a new DLC with actual content and a clear purpose. They could in theory make more for the game and work with the community to build something, even a series of DLCs and work with the community to make a real event out of it. If this was any other game, I would say this would be basically impossible and there just isn't a community big enough to really do it, except this does have that which for an RPG is amazing.

It just going against the community in a way which ultimately could kill one of the main reasons this company is held in any kind regard at this point.
