After 600+ hours in the game, I can say for sure that this is one of my favorite PvP fighting games. It's not your typical fighting game though, it doesn't have any long and tedious combos that you would use with other fighting games. It's very simplistic in combos, that does however flow so effortlessly into to other combos, making mix ups and creating your own combos more interesting and fun. This game does have a high skill cap though, reaction timing and trying to predict your opponents next move is vital to winning, more so on the predication. This is due to this game being so open to you making your own combos and feinting your attacks leading to a lot of people fighting in patterns, so trying to read your opponent will take up the majority of your concentration in this game, that is what makes the mind games to this game really interesting.

Another factor I like is the hero leveling system. When a player has invested a lot of time into a hero you can easily see it, the game offers more customization options the more you play and level a hero and once you earn enough Steel(in game currency) through fighting with that hero you can afford more customization's. So you can't just buy a skin or outfit for the hero you like, if you want to look cool, you have to earn it.

There are multiple different game modes to chose from as well, from 1v1 duels to a full out 8 player battlefield. So there is loads of game play experiences to chose from and a great experience with friends.
The only piece of criticism I can offer this game are the servers. Normally there isn't any issues at all, sometimes though you will just lose connection from a server and get kicked from the game, and you can't reconnect. This isn't game breaking at all, just a bummer when you are invested in fighting someone and BOOM, you dc.

To sum it up, this a great game and for anyone looking for a out of the norm fighting game. 100% would recommend.

I was initially not keen on playing this game, I was persuaded by my friends to join them. After buying the game and playing it, I found it extremely fun to play. The game is a great way to get the blood pumping and is not only fun to play as the killer but the survivor too. Great progression and rewarding after every game, the only thing I don't prefer is a lot of the characters you need to buy. But all in all, a great game.
